White House continues to pimp for ACORN ??

Maybe it's just a coincidence, but here are the cookies served at a recent White House Christmas Party:



Nothing says Christmas or winter like ...an acorn??

I like to think I am not a conspiracy-theorist. I can't imagine many life-forms lower than "truthers"; but I also can't conceive of any other rational explanation for this choice of theme.

Any alternative theories are welcome.
