THIS IS A NEW BLOG

This is a new blog about what interests me. Primarily it will be about politics. I hope the ability to post will be somewhat cathartic as Mrs. Slacker and the Slacker offspring are tired of listening to me vent. It is tough to be a conservative in one of the bluest of blue states (NJ) during the reign of The Obama. But it will also be about whatever else I find interesting ... the war, sports, pop culture, food, movies I like and people I don't.
