A poor choice of words

That's how Robert Gibbs tries to characterize Judge Rosannadanna's "wise Latina" comment.

The One also agrees:
President Barack Obama on Friday personally sought to deflect criticism of Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor, who finds herself under intensifying scrutiny for saying in 2001 that a female Hispanic judge would often reach a better decision than a white male judge. "I'm sure she would have restated it," Obama flatly told NBC News, without indicating how he knew that. [Me - because he's The One, duh]
I call shenanigans as this was not an off the cuff remark but rather from a prepared text. That imprecise use of language does also not explain membership in La Raza.

  1. Let's face it, he means if she knew she was up for the Supremes she would not have made that comment. Question: if during voir dire she made that statement would a judge remove her for cause?
