PAYGO

The latest example of Obama's hypocrisy fiscal discipline. Apparently, The One has decided that it is probably better if government doesn't spend more than it takes in as revenue. Of course this requires the obligatory reference to this graph:




So after trillions in deficit spending we get PAYGO ???

My guess, despite Obama's god-like efforts, PAYGO will require him to raise taxes. And not just on the "rich".

There is a $2.5 trillion exemption for health care.

The "pay-as-you-go" budget formula plan is significantly weaker than a proposal Obama issued with little fanfare last month.

It would carve out about $2.5 trillion worth of exemptions for Obama's priorities over the next decade. His health care reform plan also would get a green light to run big deficits in its early years. [emphasis mine]

So he also gets a pass for his other "priorities" ?? That simply sounds like a $2.5 trillion slush fund.
