Going for gold

USA v. Canada today.

I know the US won last week, consequently have the better record and are now seen by some as the favorite.

But Canada seems to have adjusted as witnessed by their destruction of a very good Russian squad earlier this week. And their roster is loaded with significantly more experience than the younger American team.

Before the tournament, anyone would have been thrilled if they were told the US team was guaranteed at least a silver. But human nature being what it is, we want the gold!! A loss today would not sting more than achieving the silver would inspire.

Anyway, the assessment is the same as it was last week. Ryan Miller will have to steal a win. Will he ??
