Cash-for-clunkers might get additional $2 billion
It's got the House's approval and is waiting action in the Senate. Regardless of merits of the program (or the administration's bungling of it's implementation) doesn't it just make the argument that the best way to stimulate the economy is to put cash in people's pockets. Tax cuts anyone ???

But that would allow people to spend money on what they want, rather than what the government wants. Just think how quickly the "government option" on health care will run outta cash!
